When I heard about the death of Sonia Rykiel it prompted me to check my archives, because on October 29. 2003 I had the privilege of photographing the opening of her store in The Village of Merrick Park. I met her daughter, Nathalie Rykiel. She had a contagious smile and an elegant style. Nathalie, I am sorry for your loss.
RIP ,SONIA! You will be missed
