To help raise both money and awareness for women’s cancers, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bal Harbour partnered with UM/Sylvester and hosted the 2010 Key to the Cure, a charity shopping weekend taking place October 21-24, with a kick-off party on October 20. Saks offered a limited edition Key to the Cure T-shirt designed by Donna Karan. Academy Award nominated actress Uma Thurman is the 2010 Ambassador for the Saks Fifth Avenue’s Key to the Cure. The Key to the Cure kick-off party featured music, cocktails and scrumptious hors d’oeuvres by Miami’s best restaurants and hotels. In addition, . fresh off the Paris Fashion Week runways, designers Johnny Talbot and Adrian Runhof of Talbot Runhof made a special appearance during the event. The night culminated with an exclusive fashion presentation of the Talbot Runhof Spring 2011 Collection in a lounge setting.
