America in the 1960’s: no place or period in history was or will ever be quite like it! No generation has been defined by its music more than those who lived through the “Age of Aquarius”; a time of youthful idealism, free thinking and individuality.
On June 25, 2010, the Fort Lauderdale Gay Men’s Chorus presented “Feelin’ Groovy”, a high energy concert with clips from over 70 songs of the era! The chorus took us on a groovy musical trek through those turbulent times. They sang, danced and re-lived the birth of an entire musical genre and the awakening of a nation. “Feelin’ Groovy” took us back … and perhaps moved us all forward once again!
